Born in Panama City, Robert A. Carter and his family immigrated to the United States in 1977. His father, an Episcopalian priest, assured that the family of four boys had a deeply rooted understanding of strong work ethics and perseverance. His mother, a civilian secretary working for the military, introduced discipline and was instrumental in guiding his thirst for knowledge.

 

His father’s position meant that Carter was exposed to various areas of the country. Michigan. Oakland. San Diego. South Carolina. All places that Carter has called home throughout his life, allowed him to engage with people in all walks of life and from diverse social backgrounds.

 

As a teenager, Carter attended the prestigious Cranbrook Educational Academy in Michigan. He continued is studies at UC Berkley, UC San Diego and San Diego State Univ., where he earned his Bachelor of Science in International Economics. Upon graduating, Carter became the International Marketing Consultant at The Martin Company in San Diego. There, Carter was responsible for providing advice to clients wishing to expand into the Mexican and Caribbean markets, as well as establishing correspondence with business leaders around the world seeking joint ventures.

 

Eventually, giving in to his entrepreneurial spirit, Carter began two lucrative businesses in his current home of Central Florida. After several successful years working for such clients as NASA and Miami International Airport, Carter began pursuing new career ambitions. Keen insights and the ability to pinpoint his client’s needs and articulate them effectively is just a couple of Carter’s many skills.
